Job opportunities for an experimental physicist who specializes in optics?
It sounds a little far fetched, but if you would add in 2-3 more classes specializing in computer aided design, you would open up a whole new world of job possibilities. The gaming industry often looks for programmers and developers with unique skillsets that are outside the box. I would think a physicist specializing in optics would be highly sought after by some of the major cutting edge developers looking to improve on the realism of camera angles, and perspective viewing. You'd be surprised how much of the knowledge you have would directly correspond to the gaming industry.
