How big is the Netflix instant queue selection?

I want to get Netflix, but I don't want to use the Mail DVD option, I ONLY want to use the instant queue/watch online/watch on my iPhone/iPad. So how big is the online selection of tv shows/movies? Like do they have Two and a Half men on instant? and that 70s show? david letterman? and how recent are the movies in the instant/streaming online selection? Thanks for the answers!
