Can somebody please explain what a linked queue in java is?

i have a program assignment that asks me to implement a linked queue. i have no idea what my professor is talking about, well i have some idea, i just need a start. is this the same thing as implementing a linked list? if not then what is it? how would i go about doing so(pseudocode)? please help me. thanks in advance
