What was your WORST restaurant visit like?

Once when I was in Chicago with my parents, we went to this restaurant that was RIDICULOUSLY expensive. We didn't realize until we got there and looked at the menu that there was nothing except extremely overpriced steak. I'm talking like 60 dollars per entree. We had already been seated and we didn't want to have the awkward interaction with the waiter and explain that we couldn't afford to eat there so we just booked it. Like, we ducked out without anyone seeing. After we left, my mom realized that she forgot her purse and she had to go back in and explain to the waiter what happened. We laugh now but at the time it was so awkward hahaha.
